Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and develop operations team members to achieve individual and team performance goals while building internal advancement opportunities. Supervise drivers and helpers to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational expectations. Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Division Manager to execute strategic and tactical initiatives that drive operational excellence. Conduct onboarding for newly hired drivers, reinforcing company values, policies, and performance expectations. Monitor driver performance, provide coaching, and recommend training or retraining as needed to ensure adherence to company and safety standards. Investigate accidents, customer concerns, and driver disputes; complete all required documentation in accordance with company procedures. Develop and implement route optimization strategies, including service conversions and container upsizing, to improve efficiency and reduce route hours. Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of company operations, services, and products. Perform additional duties as assigned to support company goals and uphold organizational values. Skills/Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, prefer associates degree Valid, clean CDL OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Legal authorization to work in the United States Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure 2-4 years of supervisory experience Benefits: Dental insurance.
