An elementary school is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a 5th grade caseload in a full-time, contract position for the current school year (CSY). 5th Grade Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of 5th grade students requiring special education services Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct instruction tailored to student needs in an inclusive classroom setting Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and support staff to ensure comprehensive support Serve as a case manager, coordinating services and resources to meet students academic and social goals Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with district and state regulations Qualifications: Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience working with 5th grade students preferred Proven case management skills within an educational setting Strong communication and organizational abilities Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment This opportunity offers meaningful work with students who benefit from specialized instruction and dedicated coordination.
