Health Educator

Job Title: TB Health Educator Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Interview: Webcam Hourly Pay Rate: $32.30 Job Summary The TB Health Educator supports the TB Prevention & Care Program. This role focuses on reducing tuberculosis (TB) cases in Indiana by providing education, training, outreach, and technical support to health departments, healthcare providers, and the public. Key Responsibilities • Provide TB education and training to local health departments, healthcare providers, and community partners • Develop training materials, presentations, newsletters, and educational resources • Conduct public presentations, workshops, and outreach events (including World TB Day activities) • Assist with updating TB training materials and website content • Serve as liaison with CDC, American Lung Association, and other partners • Support grant writing and funding proposals • Coordinate meetings such as the Indiana TB Elimination Advisory Committee • Maintain accurate documentation and reports • Promote cultural competence in public health education Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, Community Health, Health Science, Education, or related field • At least 2 years of public health experience • Knowledge of tuberculosis epidemiology and public health guidelines • Experience creating training and education materials • Strong public speaking and communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Ability to work with healthcare providers and local health departments Preferred Qualifications • Master’s degree in Public Health or related field • CHES or MCHES certification Thanks & Regards
