Swoon is actively seeking a Warehouse Associate to join the team!

What will your day-to-day look like? Receive and triage returned caption phones in the Antioch, TN warehouse, performing detailed cosmetic inspections and grading (refurbish vs. e-waste) based on company asset standards and customer needs. Conduct comprehensive functional testing (audio quality, connectivity, OS performance, feature validation) to ensure all devices meet ETN (Equivalent to New) criteria before release to customers. Perform reverse engineering and device teardown, disassembling returned units to analyze manufacturing defects, hardware failures, and reported field issues. Document and communicate detailed findings to Engineering and Development teams, including bug reports, captioning issues, hardware defects, and recurring system trends. Validate and process RMA cases, ensuring minimum triage requirements are met and coordinating with Support and Customer Experience teams to resolve blockers. Maintain availability of tested components (handsets, power adapters, cords, stands) within Finished Goods Inventory (FGI) to fulfill refurbishment and customer replacement needs. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Logistics, Support, and Management to escalate issues, recommend process improvements, monitor unusual account activity, and adapt quickly to shifting operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What’s required? Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (up to 98% of the workday) within a warehouse and testing environment, including frequent transitions between workstation, inventory areas, and inspection stations. Continuous keyboarding and device interaction (up to 100% of the workday) while documenting findings, updating RMAs, compiling reports, and navigating testing software and MS Office tools. Sustained close visual focus (100%) when inspecting cosmetic defects, reviewing device screens (phones, tablets, monitors), identifying minor hardware damage, and validating on-screen OS functionality. Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to handle small electronic components (handsets, cords, adapters), perform device disassembly/reassembly, connect peripherals, and manipulate networking equipment safely. Ability to lift and move boxes up to 10 lbs, including returned phone shipments, accessories, and warehouse inventory items as part of daily intake and grading processes. Comfort working in a warehouse operations setting, adhering to sanitation, safety, and handling guidelines when refurbishing and preparing devices for redistribution to customers. Capacity to maintain physical stamina and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, balancing repetitive inspection/testing tasks with shifting priorities and minimal supervision.
