Job Description
Our rapidly growing client is seeking a Project Engineer to support key operational and strategic initiatives across their manufacturing organization. This role will play a critical part in driving projects from concept through execution while partnering closely with production, engineering, and leadership teams. The position is designed as a leadership development opportunity, with a clear path to grow into a management role.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional projects focused on operational improvements, new initiatives, and business priorities
Manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder communication from initiation through completion
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members
Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput
Identify process gaps and implement sustainable solutions across manufacturing operations
Collaborate with production leadership to support daily operations and long-term strategic goals
Develop documentation, workflows, and standardized processes to support scalability
Track project performance metrics and present updates to leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelorโs degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field)
5+ years of engineering or project management experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives and influence teams
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)
Leadership or mentoring experience strongly preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on within operations
