Software Engineer - Analytics Platforms & Experiences (APX)

We're looking for a junior Software Engineer to join the APX Bedrock team — the foundation of our platform capabilities. You’ll help design and build scalable, user-friendly tools and backend services that make it easier for teams across Apple to manage and operate analytics pipelines efficiently. Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable backend services that integrate big data technologies with microservices for real-time and batch data processing Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and improve platform capabilities Contribute to the design of intuitive developer tools and automation systems Stay informed of industry trends and bring forward innovative ideas Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent related experience 3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a full-stack or backend role Proficiency in building and maintaining backend services using modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go) Solid knowledge of SQL and working with relational or analytical databases Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps fundamentals Familiarity with data engineering concepts and challenges Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience integrating or leveraging AI models in applications Experience with big data orchestration systems like Airflow Experience in building CLI tools Experience with container orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
