Bilingual Family Law Attorney - Remote NYC (Appearances required)
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Family Law Attorney with a strong background in litigation and matrimonial law to work on a part-time basis (20 hours weekly) to start.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and client-focused legal professional to join a fast-paced, highly collaborative practice. The ideal candidate will have
at least two years of experience handling complex family and matrimonial matters
and will demonstrate strong litigation skills and client service excellence.
This role will begin March 2026.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, and post-judgment litigation
Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
Conduct legal research, prepare memoranda, and advise clients on case strategy
Appear in court for conferences, hearings, and trials
Negotiate settlements and prepare marital and custody agreements
Manage case timelines, deadlines, and procedural compliance
Collaborate closely with support staff and fellow attorneys to ensure high-quality client outcomes
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed to practice in New York (New Jersey bar admission a plus)
2+ years of experience in family and matrimonial law, including litigation experience
Bilingual in English/Spanish (ability to communicate with clients in both languages)
Strong knowledge of New York Family and Supreme Court procedures
Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to handle a full caseload independently and meet deadlines under pressure
Client-focused with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
Benefits:
The anticipated pay rate range for this position is between $30 and $40 hourly.
