Registered Nurse

Job Title: RN - Operation Room Location: Brooklyn, NY 11213 Shift: Day/Night - 12*3 Contract Duration: 3 months + probable extension Pay Rate: $60/hr - $65/hr, $2609/Weekly

Required: 3+ years’ experience in an Operating Room setting.

Education: -Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required.

Certifications & Licensure: New York State RN License, BLS required

Duties: -Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, cognitive, and cultural diversity of the patient. -Determines mobility, sensory deficits, prostheses use, and skin condition and adjusts plan of care, as appropriate. -Responsible for supervising and directing patient care in the operating suite while ensuring proper techniques are used. -Maintains count on sponges, needles and other instruments used in the operating room. -Collaborates as appropriate with physician and other clinical disciplines in planning interventions to meet patient and family needs.
