As a Principal Consultant, Maritime Accounts at Oxalis, you will play a pivotal role in driving our success in Maritime and Naval services through innovative and strategic solutions. Your consulting background, industry knowledge, and customer focus will be critical to delivering daily value, building long-term partnerships, and driving sustained business impact. What You’ll Do
Customer Success & Strategic Growth
Manage and grow a portfolio of customers, ensuring satisfaction, renewal, and expansion.
Lead discovery and engagement efforts, identifying opportunities for products, services, and transformation initiatives.
Own the customer relationship from pre-sale through delivery—ensuring alignment, clarity, and measurable outcomes.
Navigate complex procurement environments, contributing consulting-driven insights to customers, partners, and internal teams.
Lead teams of consultants and technical specialists, setting direction and ensuring excellence in delivery.
Oversee multiple engagements across maritime and related sectors, managing scope, risk, and quality to ensure successful outcomes.
Drive solution design and execution—from initial scoping through post-implementation support and enablement.
Ensure deliverables reflect the quality and thought leadership that Oxalis is known for.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, shaping future-state processes and aligning technology to business goals.
Develop and deliver polished, customer-facing deliverables and presentations that communicate complex concepts with clarity.
Build and maintain long-term trust and credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
Business Operations & Internal Leadership
Partner with other Oxalis leaders to support internal operations, process development, and strategic growth.
Contribute to business development planning and support pursuit efforts with new and existing customers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of customer-facing experience with strong engagement and team leadership.
Proven consulting experience (or consulting-like roles) is strongly preferred.
Track record of growing accounts and securing renewals through exceptional service delivery.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to travel as needed.
Comfortable working effectively in hybrid and remote environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record in account management, customer success, or managed services operations within a consulting business.
Hands-on experience with SaaS products, including Atlassian.
Experience with IFS products and modules in both remote and cloud deployments.
Background in enterprise program governance, portfolio management, or PMO leadership.
Demonstrated experience applying Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, DevOps, ITSM).
Certifications: Atlassian, IFS, SAFe, ITIL, PMP.
Strong project management skills including planning, estimation, and risk management.
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Proven record of delivering high-quality work and exceeding customer expectations.
Collaborative approach with the ability to lead diverse teams.
Ownership and accountability for growth, quality, and relationships.
