Salesforce Project Manager (Chicago)

Job Title: Salesforce Project Manager Pay: $120,000-$150,000/Year Duration: Permanent Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid 2-3x per week)

Required Skills and Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related technical disciplines. Project Management Expertise Minimum 5+ years of project management experience. PMP certification required. Proven success managing complex, cross-functional, and strategic project portfolios. Salesforce Platform Knowledge Minimum 5+ years in a Product Manager or similar role working with the Salesforce platform. Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, capabilities, and ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud). Experience with modern data architecture, including service-oriented and event-driven integration approaches. Technical Proficiency Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira). Solid understanding of CRM systems, AI technologies, marketing automation tools, and website analytics. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Leadership & Communication Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Ability to manage sensitive information and uphold high ethical standards. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex project challenges. Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Proficient in process design and documentation. Preferred Skills and Qualifications Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Platform App Builder. Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry. Experience with ERP systems and other enterprise software applications.

Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized and driven Salesforce Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce-related initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for managing cross-functional projects that enhance our CRM capabilities, support digital transformation, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes. The Salesforce Project Manager will oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and communications to ensure successful project outcomes aligned with company objectives. Minimal travel may be required.
