Adobe Workfront System Administrator

My name is Bill Stevens, and I have a new six month plus Adobe Workfront System Administrator opportunity available that could be of interest to you. Please review my specification below and I am available at any time to speak with you so please feel free to call me. The forty-hour work week schedule will be hybrid, three days a week in the office and two days remote. The choice of onsite work location will be with the candidate, and he / she can work in either of the firm’s office locations which are located in Midtown, Manhattan at Hudson Yards, Holmdel, New Jersey, Stamford, Connecticut or Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship. No Visa entanglements and no H1-B holding company submittals.

This position pays $50.00 per hour on a w-2 hourly basis.

Responsibilities: Technical Execution: Configure, maintain, and optimize Workfront workflows, custom forms, request queues, and automated routing. Translate business requirements into system logic, field structures, and workflow automation. Participate in technical discovery and provide input on end-to-end operations solutions across multiple systems. Support API-based integrations, field mappings, and system data flows where applicable.

Platform System Administration: Provide support as Adobe Workfront system administrator, troubleshooting configuration issues, managing user roles/permissions, and performing environment QA. Support setup and configuration of additional Martech platforms: DAM structures (AEM), automation tools (Fusion), analytics tagging frameworks (Adobe Analytics), etc. Assist in requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), and documentation for emerging technologies and enhancements. Manage Workfront environments across sandbox, preview, and production, ensuring controlled deployment of configuration changes. Document system configuration, workflow logic, field definitions, and integration schemas for ongoing governance.

Information Architecture Responsibilities: Define and maintain metadata standards, taxonomy structures, operational naming conventions, and structure data used across marketing systems. Partner with IT to enforce data governance through system rules, validations, and automated enforcement mechanisms. Help create and maintain documentation that supports governance, process clarity, and user education and trainings. Develop and maintain cross system data models, field mappings, and metadata schemas to ensure alignment between Workfront, AEM, Fusion, and analytics systems. Monitor data quality issues and propose taxonomic or structural improvements. Build and maintain Adobe Fusion scenarios in increasing productivity and efficiency for the larger team.

Technical Enablement: Cross-functionally collaborate with platform admins to jointly implement system enhancements and integrations. Translate user feedback into system requirements and technical improvements. Create and deliver technical documentation, release notes, and training materials for system updates. Support structured change management processes for new workflows, releases, and feature rollouts.

Workfront Configuration & Workflow Design: Design, implement, iterate, and improve on Workfront templates, workflow models, routing logic, and automated rules. Evaluate the impact of workflow changes on downstream systems, reporting, and metadata integrity. Establish version control standards for workflows, templates, reports, and automations. Design and maintain Fusion scenarios.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, finance, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Experience designing workflows, automations, and working with APIs, integrations, and structured data models Experience designing workflows, automations, and working with APIs, integrations, and structured data models. Strong background in taxonomy, metadata, controlled vocabularies, and data governance within the firms Martech platforms. Ability to translate business needs into system requirements, configurations, and technical documentation. Comfort with advanced reporting, dashboards, and managing multi-environment systems (sandbox, preview, production). Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex, cross functional teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and present to leadership. Prior experience working alongside or within marketing or communications teams developing creative assets including print, digital, social, and video.
