Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced

CRNA

for a full-time opportunity in

St. Augustine, Florida .

This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, no call responsibilities, and the opportunity to work within a collaborative care team model across a brand-new surgery center and affiliated hospital locations.

Position Overview

Schedule:

Monday–Friday (5x8s)

Full-Time Only

No Call

No Weekends

Start Date:

Late March / Early April

Credentialing Timeline:

Approximately 90 days

Practice Model

Care Team (Medical Direction) Model

1:3 or 1:4 supervision ratio (never higher than 4)

APPs primarily staff ORs

MDs perform most regional blocks

APPs frequently perform spinal anesthesia for total joints

Minimal involvement in induction/emergence (varies by physician preference)

This is a structured, collaborative anesthesia group with strong workflow efficiency.

Case Mix

Surgery Center (1–2 days per week)

100% Orthopedics

Hospital Coverage (3–4 days per week)

General Surgery

Orthopedics

GYN

GI

Urology

Podiatry

ENT

Neuro

Majority case volume consists of General Surgery and Orthopedics.

No trauma designation at any location.

4 ORs at St. Augustine site

Additional affiliated hospital OR capacity:

Southside – 15

St. Augustine – 4

St. Vincent – 8

St. Johns – 8

Riverside – 23

Most assignments remain on the St. Augustine side of town, with approximately a 20-minute drive between facilities.

EMR Systems:

Surgery Center: SIS

Hospital: Cerner

Candidate Requirements

NBCRNA Certified

Active Florida license

Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience

24 months of case logs required

ACLS & BLS required
