Job Description
Our rapidly growing client is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support operational excellence initiatives across production environments. This role will focus heavily on process improvement, efficiency optimization, and driving measurable performance gains through hands-on engagement with manufacturing teams. The position involves regular Gemba walks, data-driven decision making, and implementation of Lean manufacturing principles. Salary is 120-125k with opportunity for an exceptional bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance
Conduct Gemba walks to identify inefficiencies, waste, and improvement opportunities on the production floor
Analyze manufacturing data to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
Develop and implement standardized work, process documentation, and best practices
Support new product introductions and manufacturing readiness activities
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, engineering, and leadership teams
Facilitate continuous improvement events (Kaizen, Lean projects, value stream mapping)
Recommend and implement equipment, tooling, or layout improvements to increase throughput and efficiency
Monitor KPIs and track improvement project results
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
3–7+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience working in a production environment with hands-on floor engagement
Data analysis and problem-solving skills with a structured improvement mindset
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing metrics preferred
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
