About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate with 2–5 years of experience in commercial litigation and/or tort litigation to join our growing team in our Greensboro office. This position offers significant hands-on experience, client interaction, and meaningful responsibility from day one. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills, courtroom exposure, and experience managing cases through various stages of litigation.

Responsibilities Manage a caseload of commercial and/or tort litigation matters Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda Take and defend depositions Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances Assist with trial preparation and trial support Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts Develop case strategy in collaboration with partners

Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in commercial litigation and/or tort litigation Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills Experience handling discovery and motion practice Deposition and courtroom experience preferred Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team Licensed and in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar INDLIL

Preferred Experience Business disputes, contract claims, and complex commercial matters Personal injury, professional liability, or other tort-based claims Experience in North Carolina state and/or federal courts
