Our client, a well-established and growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm, is seeking a motivated and experienced
Personal Injury Attorney
to join its team in New York City and/or Westbury, Long Island. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling personal injury matters from intake through resolution and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side personal injury matters from inception through settlement or trial
Conduct client intake meetings and case evaluations
Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and responses
Conduct and defend depositions
Appear in court for conferences, hearings, and motion arguments
Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case status
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Admission to practice in the applicable state (New York)
2–10+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience
Strong knowledge of negligence law, insurance coverage, and litigation procedures
Experience handling motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, premises liability, construction accidents, and other injury matters
Trial experience is a plus
Excellent negotiation, writing, and courtroom skills
Ability to independently manage a caseload
The base salary is between $ 125,000 and $165,000, plus back-end compensation on all originated cases that are settled. Total compensation can exceed 250K++. Solid benefits and a generous PTO.
