A law firm seeks two associates with 3–5 years of experience in construction defect matters in Dallas, TX. This opportunity is ideal for a Construction Defect Litigation Associate Attorney looking to expand trial skills, deepen client relationships, and grow within a dynamic Texas litigation team.
As part of this Dallas-based litigation group, you will work closely with experienced trial attorneys defending developers, contractors, design professionals, and insurers in high-stakes disputes. This role is actively interviewing and rarely opens at this experience level.

Key Responsibilities
• Represent clients in construction defect and related civil litigation matters
• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including discovery and motion practice
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and legal memoranda
• Participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client communications
• Engage directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
• Support trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit development
This Litigation Associate Attorney role provides substantial autonomy while maintaining access to mentorship from seasoned litigators. Associates are encouraged to take ownership of matters and develop strong courtroom presence early in their tenure.

Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience in construction defect defense or related civil litigation
• Active Texas Bar admission (TX Bar required)
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience drafting complex motions and handling depositions
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation technology
Candidates with experience as a General Litigation Attorney, Civil Litigation Associate, or Law firm litigation associate in construction-related matters are strongly encouraged to apply.
