Sanitation Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Watertown, WI

9pm - 5:30am
Job Description:
Act as change agent and provide support to team members
Lead, motivate, and facilitate learning to achieve productivity results, improve individual skills, and enhance teamwork
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and sanitation requirements, function as technical and business resource in system operations
Work towards continuous improvements within the department and facility
Lead actions for assigned duties and establish and sustain effective relationships with all team members to foster an environment where innovation, cooperation, and ownership are used to solve problems
Coach, lead, and develop team members to consistently deliver great performance
Lead, develop, and initiate process improvement efforts; conduct and lead an effective pre-shift meeting
Monitor and ensure timely completion of master sanitation schedule; follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
Ensure sanitation and food safety specifications are met; train and coach staff on sanitation processes
Responsible for performance, productivity, and efficient utilization of resources
Ensure appropriate coaches/staff are kept informed of problems/issues that may affect their process
Manage execution of 7 steps of sanitation and meet company and USDA standards of acceptability
Conduct environmental and bioluminescence swabbing and complete sanitation documentation paperwork accurately
Maintain proper set up and teardown knowledge of equipment within Finished Goods
Maintain in-depth knowledge of equipment functions and the ability to assist in troubleshooting
Identify and resolve potential problems and niche points
Identify Critical Control Points in assigned area and maintain all GMPs
3rd Shift with overtime as production demands, and possible weekends
Experience:
Two years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, highly preferred
Basic Sanitation experience preferred
Skills and Competencies:
Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's)
Must be able to identify Critical Control Points (CCPs) in area of responsibility and maintain all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Must be able to become certified in chemical usage
Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required
