COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered (mileage, airfare, lodging, rental car & fuel, ground transportation)

Lodging Cap: $150/night (for providers >40 miles from facility)

Airfare Cap: $500 domestic / $600 international roundtrip (approval required if exceeded) REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Vein harvesting using Vasoview hemopro system

Central line placement

Arterial line placement

Chest tube management

Wound care vac management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Maryland license (or eligibility to obtain)

Board: Board Certified

DEA: Required

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CSR license

Experience: Minimum 3 years in CV OR; must have cardiovascular OR experience

Other Qualifications: Proficiency in vein harvesting with Vasoview hemopro

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Arrive at 6:30am, review OR patients, and complete interval H&P notes

Assist in 12 CV surgery cases per day, averaging 25 days/week

Provide post-op care including central/arterial lines, chest tubes, and wound vac management

Support consults and CV ICU patients when not in OR

Manage 815 patients in collaboration with surgical team until discharge

Participate in team-based care; not a solo role
