A highly respected industrial manufacturing organization is conducting a confidential search for an

Assistant General Manager

to support the leadership of a large-scale, complex production operation employing approximately

2,000 team members .

This is a critical leadership role focused on

operational execution, workforce leadership, safety, and performance improvement

across a multi-process manufacturing environment producing and processing materials in a wide range of grades, sizes, and forms.

MUST HAVE We are seeking a proven operations executive who has successfully led

large teams (1,500+ FTEs)

within demanding industrial environments.

Ideal Background Includes: • Large Automotive, steel, metals, or primary materials manufacturing • Automotive or Tier 1 manufacturing • Heavy industrial or high-volume process manufacturing • Multi-site manufacturing leadership with a large workforce responsibility

Key Responsibilities: • Partner with the General Manager to lead day-to-day plant and operational performance • Drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance across the complex • Lead and develop large teams across operations, maintenance, and support functions • Execute continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives • Strengthen culture, accountability, and leadership capability across the workforce • Support capital projects, modernization initiatives, and long-term growth plans

What We’re Looking For: ✔ Experience leading large manufacturing organizations (1,500+ employees a must have) ✔ Strong operational and people leadership skills ✔ Background in metals, automotive, or other heavy manufacturing environments ✔ Demonstrated success improving performance, culture, and execution ✔ Hands-on leadership style with high visibility on the floor
