Personal Injury Paralegal (Rockville Centre)

Position Summary:

We’re seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in plaintiff personal injury cases. You will play a critical role supporting our attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case intake and discovery to trial preparation and settlement. Your expertise will ensure cases move smoothly, deadlines are met, and clients feel confident in our advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and organize personal injury litigation files, ensuring meticulous documentation and timely updates Draft, review, and file pleadings, discovery requests, responses, and correspondence Coordinate and prepare for depositions, mediations, and trials Conduct factual and legal research relevant to case preparation Communicate effectively with clients, medical providers, experts, courts, and opposing counsel Track deadlines, court rules, and procedural requirements rigorously Assist attorneys with settlement evaluations and trial exhibits Utilize case management software to maintain accurate case records

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience focused on plaintiff personal injury litigation Strong knowledge of New York civil procedure and local court rules Exceptional organizational skills with acute attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines without compromising quality Proficiency with legal software (e.g., Microsoft Office, E-filing platforms, case management systems) Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred

Salary and Other Compensation:

The base salary for this position is between $70,000 – $90,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
