Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts with various shift times: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, 9:00 PM-9:00 AM, 11:00 PM-11:00 AM, 3:00 PM-3:00 AM, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM • Weekend and holiday requirements vary based on department needs • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (NRP preferred) • Must pass open book exam during orientation with 90% or higher to continue contract • Floating requirements include OBS unit and Freestanding Creighton ER at least once per week • Patient ratios: 1:4 in zones, 1:6 in Fast Track, 1:5 in OBS, 1:1 ICU/Trauma • Work in Level I Trauma Center with Pediatric Certification and Comprehensive Stroke Center designation • 20 beds total including 5 trauma bays, 10 observation beds, plus hallway beds • Fast Track area with 6 beds and separate triage area with 3 beds • Handle high acuity cases including trauma, sepsis, chest pain, shortness of breath, and stroke patients • Must read and interpret telemetry strips independently • Use EPIC charting system • Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination • One week of onboarding plus 2 shifts at Bergan and 1 shift at UC for orientation • Must reside outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a Level I Trauma Center with comprehensive emergency services and specialized capabilities.
