Project Manager (Phoenix)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Project Manager

to lead and oversee data center projects in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical, telecommunications, or fiber optics construction and a proven ability to manage project flow, field teams, and client expectations from kickoff through completion.

This role requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in project management software, including Procore.

Key Responsibilities Lead full lifecycle management of data center construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout Oversee project flow to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met Lead and supervise a team of 15+ electricians, technicians, and commissioning personnel Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to maintain seamless operations Monitor project budgets, track costs, and ensure financial accountability Utilize Procore to manage documentation, scheduling, reporting, and project communication Provide regular project updates to leadership and clients Identify and proactively resolve project risks or delays Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management within electrical, telecommunications, or fiber optics industries Demonstrated experience managing teams of 15 or more field personnel Strong working knowledge and proficiency in Procore Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents Experience overseeing commissioning processes is preferred Preferred Background Data center construction (ground-up or expansion projects) Electrical infrastructure including switchgear, UPS systems, and backup power Fiber optics installation and commissioning Coordinating commissioning activities within mission-critical facilities What We’re Looking For A proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Someone who can drive accountability while fostering a collaborative team culture A professional who is client-focused and results-driven
