Construction Specialist (San Francisco)

Job Title: Construction Engineer (Site Surveys, Coax/Ethernet in MDU/Muti-Tenant)

Duration: Upto 30 Months i.e., 2.5 Years (Including extensions)

JOB DESCRIPTION :- In the office/field 3-4 days a week, and remote 1-2 days per week

Targeted Years of Experience: 5-7 Years Responsibilities:

-- Design and install the equipment used in transmitting broadband data over in-building networks -- Work with coax, twisted pair copper or fiber optic cabling and complex networks as well as switching equipment -- Coordinate installation of new in-building networks or equipment -- Evaluate multi-tenant (residence and business) buildings to determine compatibility with different networks and systems -- Manage large build projects involving broadband services, and ensure timely planning and implementation -- Produce technical documentation to determine build feasibility for candidate properties for broadband services -- Provide general ad-hoc operational support for local field engineering and sales teams

Must Have Skills:

-- General knowledge & experience with the design and install of in-building network architectures -- General work area hazard identification & prevention -- Knowledge & experience with CATV provider termination points (e.g., terminals, pedestals)

Desired Skills:

-- Knowledge & experience with Google Suite and other computer and mobility-based applications -- Frontline experience with working with customer/clients

Education Certifications:

-- Must have a four-year college degree or equivalent field experience

Sponsor Highlights: -Experience with working with and around coax/Ethernet cabling (hands-on experience preferable) The candidate will be responsible for conducting site surveys where they will be locating and looking at coax junction points in multiple dwelling/multiple tenant buildings The candidate will may need some tools in order to open the locked enclosures (when applicable) The candidate will need to be able to provide recommendations for installing our service in the buildings they site survey

-Experience with working on ladders / rooftops Site surveys may require accessing flat rooftops through a ladder/hatch

-Experience with working with property owners Sites surveys will need to be scheduled by the candidate

-Experience with generating simple designs Site surveys will require a the creation of a simple design to show the layout of the building Pictures may be required

-General knowledge with building structure This will be needed in order to make good recommendations for how the our equipment can be installed
