Job Description:
Lead the design, implementation, and advancement of innovative manufacturing systems to support strategic production initiatives and long-term operational excellence.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Lead Production Preparedness Process (3P) events to design and implement manufacturing systems meeting SQDC metrics
Manage cross-functional engineering teams to execute manufacturing projects end-to-end
Research, evaluate, and onboard new technologies, suppliers, and automation solutions
Present project status, risks, and performance metrics to leadership using data-driven analysis
Own and manage capital project budgets exceeding $10M, including ROI analysis
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing engineering processes
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience designing and implementing processes in high-volume, high-mix or semi-automated manufacturing environments
Strong expertise in Lean Six Sigma, value stream mapping, DFMA, and manufacturing systems design
Proven ability to lead complex projects from concept through validation and sustainment
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and business acumen with a data-driven mindset
Nice-to-Haves:
Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
Lean Six Sigma (LSS) certification
PMP certification
Experience with DFSS, advanced automation, and CAD tools
