The Role:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, patient-focused Pharmacist to join a growing compounding pharmacy team in Smithville, TX.

This position primarily supports front-end operations, with a strong focus on reviewing and verifying compounded prescriptions to ensure clinical accuracy, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

Daily Volume: 100–200 scripts Staffing: 3 Pharmacists, 5 Technicians, 2 Customer Service Representatives Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 8 am–6 pm (40 hours)

This is not a chaotic retail environment; it’s structured, supported, and team-driven.

You will receive:

Key Responsibilities:

Review and verify compounded prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and completeness Ensure formulations, calculations, ingredients, and dosing meet clinical and regulatory standards Provide final verification prior to dispensing Collaborate with technicians to maintain workflow and quality control Counsel patients and providers on compounded medications Maintain compliance with USP
