The Role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, patient-focused Pharmacist to join a growing compounding pharmacy team in Smithville, TX.
This position primarily supports front-end operations, with a strong focus on reviewing and verifying compounded prescriptions to ensure clinical accuracy, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
Daily Volume: 100–200 scripts
Staffing: 3 Pharmacists, 5 Technicians, 2 Customer Service Representatives
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 8 am–6 pm (40 hours)
This is not a chaotic retail environment; it’s structured, supported, and team-driven.
No Compounding Experience? No Problem.

You will receive:
Hands-on training in non-sterile and sterile compounding processes
Education on formulations, calculations, ingredient sourcing, and stability considerations
Direct mentorship from experienced compounding pharmacists

Exposure to clinical applications, including hormone therapy, dermatology, pain management, and specialty formulations

Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify compounded prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and completeness
Ensure formulations, calculations, ingredients, and dosing meet clinical and regulatory standards
Provide final verification prior to dispensing
Collaborate with technicians to maintain workflow and quality control
Counsel patients and providers on compounded medications
Maintain compliance with USP
