EHS/ Safety Manager
Job Summary
The Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive safety management program that protects employees, guests, and company assets across Revel Group operations. This role ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and industry best practices while fostering a proactive, safety-first culture through training, audits, and continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s safety management system, policies, and procedures.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across all operational areas; identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to reduce risk and prevent injuries.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, industry standards, and company safety requirements.
Partner with department leaders and HR to ensure OSHA-required and company-specific safety training is completed, documented, and maintained.
Manage workplace injury and incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis.
Administer the workers’ compensation program, including claims management, return-to-work programs, and coordination with insurance carriers and medical providers.
Track, analyze, and report safety performance metrics, including employee and guest injury and illness trends.
Develop, implement, and maintain emergency action plans; coordinate with local EMS and public safety agencies to conduct emergency drills and exercises.
Maintain accurate safety records, OSHA logs, training documentation, and compliance reports.
What You Need
OSHA 30-Hour Certification (General Industry or Construction, as applicable).
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
2–4 years of safety management experience preferred.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management principles.
ASP, CSP, or similar professional safety certification preferred.
Prior experience in theme park, amusement, hospitality, or entertainment environments preferred.
Experience managing general industry safety programs.
Familiarity with emergency management practices and Incident Command Systems (ICS).
CPR certified or willing to get certified within 3 months of hire
Preferred certified instructor, or instructor trainer through the American Red Cross
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to walk, stand, and navigate active operational environments for extended periods.
Availability to respond to incidents and emergencies, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Ability to perform occasional lifting and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
