Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This travel position offers an opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized pediatric services in a diverse school setting serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The role supports various educational environments, including self-contained classrooms and resource settings, focusing on early childhood as well as middle and high school students.
Assignments start during the 26/27 school year and are located in Charleston, SC, with additional travel opportunities available in Southern California, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Colorado. This position requires an active state license valid for the state in which you will be working. Candidates will work a minimum of 30 hours per week across five days, delivering essential SLP services in schools ranging from K-5 to grades 6-8 and 9-12.
Key qualifications and experience include:
* Active state SLP license in the applicable state
* Pediatric speech-language pathology skills applicable to early childhood and school-aged children
* Experience working across multiple grade levels (K-12)
* Ability to adapt to various educational settings such as self-contained classrooms and resource programs
* Flexibility and willingness to engage in travel assignments across Southern CA, NC, SC, and CO
Primary responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and providing treatment for speech and language disorders, collaborating with educators and families, and documenting progress to support student success.
