Legal Assistant
to join their team for a full-time, onsite opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct conflict checks and open new matters.
Manage legal documents using document management software and create closing binders.
Draft engagement letters and estate planning documents.
File documents with the South Carolina Secretary of State and other agencies.
Publish legal notices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Associateโs degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Previous legal assistant experience, ideally in transactional law or a professional services environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
Experience with DocuSign and dictation is a plus.
