Whether you are a Non-Licensed or Licensed Optician, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with their eyewear needs, ensuring accurate measurements, and providing exceptional customer service. Core Responsibilities
Patient Care & Optical Services
Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their prescription, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences
Perform precise measurements for lens fitting and ensure accurate optical dispensing
Adjust and repair eyewear for comfort and optimal performance
Educate patients on lens options, coatings, care, and proper use
Operations & Order Management
Manage eyewear orders and coordinate with optical labs
Maintain accurate patient prescriptions and order records
Manage
frame inventory organization and tracking
Verify insurance benefits and support optical billing processes
Team Collaboration & Patient Experience
Work collaboratively with doctors and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and colleagues
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and professionalism
Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture
What We’re Looking For
Required
High school diploma
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Preferred
Experience in an optometry or optical setting
Customer service and/or retail sales experience
Comfort with EHR systems (Compulink experience a plus)
Proficiency with computers and Google Workspace
