Mental Health Advocacy Intern (Chicago)

Description: The Coalition to Save Our Mental Health Centers seeks motivated and responsible students to work in one of two program areas this summer to help create new Expanded Mental Health Services Programs (EMHSPs). You will be assigned to one of our two EMHSP areas: Mid-North Side (Edgewater, Lincoln Square, and Uptown) or Far Southwest Side (Beverly,

Washington Heights, Roseland, West Pullman,

Morgan Park, and Mount Greenwood). You will be part of a team each day working to educate residents and collect signatures to increase mental health services in the community.

Election Code requires all distributors of petitions to place a measure on the ballot to be at least 18 years of age and United States citizens . Excellent training and supervision provided!

We're seeking to hire each intern for one of the two listed areas. If you have a preference for one of the areas listed in the job description, please state that preference in your cover letter.
