Responsibilities
The firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal who will also serve as the primary administrator of the firm’s e-discovery platform. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional that can operate with a high degree of independence.
The Senior Litigation Paralegal will work closely with attorneys and team members to manage cases from inception through trial and in appeals.
Candidates must have experience in administration and use of litigation support software using Reveal or similar platforms such as Relativity.
Litigation support software tasks will include:
Processing data for export into review platforms.
Reviewing and culling documents for production or export for other case tasks and creating and running protocols for production and export.
Interfacing with clients and collaborating with client IT staff and forensic consultants.
Instructing attorneys and paralegals on use of firm’s litigation software.
Candidates must also have experience in:
Drafting and revising pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and legal forms.
Assisting with deposition, hearing, trial and appeals preparation (exhibits, witness outlines, organization).
Research and cite-checking using Westlaw.
Qualifications
Candidate must be knowledgeable about Federal and State Court rules and procedures and e-filing protocols. Candidate must have strong computer skills and experience using all Microsoft Office applications, deposition programs or deposition modules in a litigation support database, Westlaw, PACER, ECF, NetDocs or similar document management systems, and calendaring programs.
Experience in legal AI products is a plus.
Bachelor's degree, a paralegal certificate, and/or an attorney attestation (per Professions Code Section 6450) is required.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $125,000 per year to $145,000 per year depending on experience. Comprehensive health insurance benefits for employees and dependents are offered. Paid time off and retirement savings plan are also offered.
Hybrid work is permitted, but employees are required to work primarily in the office.
