We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist with a easy going personality to join our team 2 days a week. We moved our 30+ plus year dental practice from San Diego to CdA creating the ideal small family owned private practice focusing on cosmetic & restorative dentistry.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care to patients, building a personal relationship, and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene care and a fun-loving attitude. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient relationships. This position is for Monday 8 am - 5 pm and Thursday 8 am - 3pm. Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling & polishing teeth. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist the dentist during procedures as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow in the dental suites. Maintain accurate patient records using the dental software Dentrix 6 Laser certification Is a plus. If not currently certified, we will get you trained and certified. Manage patient preventative appointments

Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in using dental software systems (Dentrix, Weave, Digital X-rays) Knowledge of infection control procedures & aseptic techniques. (Wand knowledge a plus) Previous experience as a dental admin or in assisting roles is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
