Field Service Technician (Cincinnati)

trak group is partnering with a well-established specialty manufacturing company in Cincinnati to identify a Field Service Technician. This company designs and maintains specialized mechanical and electronic systems for clients throughout the region.

You'll travel to customer sites, troubleshoot complex systems, work at heights on unique installations, and represent a company known for quality craftsmanship and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities: Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, and maintain specialized mechanical and electronic systems Climb ladders and access elevated installations, using lifts and rigging equipment after certification Diagnose and repair mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical components Program electronic control systems using manuals and remote technical support Document services performed and communicate results clearly Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle with proper inventory and tools Represent the company professionally as the primary customer-facing technician Support safe work habits and follow all company and site safety procedures

Required Qualifications: Clean driving record and ability to travel (up to 50% overnight) Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electronic troubleshooting abilities Ability to climb ladders/stairs and work at heights up to 30 feet Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to read and follow technical manuals, drawings, and instructions Professional communication skills for customer interaction Ability to document work clearly and maintain organized tools/vehicle Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn a unique product line

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in rigging, electrical work, fabrication, construction, or military service Familiarity with electronics or electro-mechanical equipment
