Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide vital speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school setting serving K-12 students, with a focus on K-8 needs, in Bridgeport, CT. This travel position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment that values both new graduates and experienced clinicians.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver speech-language therapy to a caseload of 50-60 students, with potential growth as the academic year progresses
* Manage therapy sessions across 1-2 school locations to maximize efficiency and student impact
* Complete necessary documentation; the role provides 1 hour daily allotted for paperwork
* Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
* Receive supervision if you are a new graduate clinical fellow, ensuring professional growth and development
Qualifications and Experience:
* Possession of the Initial Educator Teacher Certification with a Special Endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology, specific to the state
* Credentials may include Speech-Language Pathologist Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
* Open to new graduate clinical fellows and experienced CCC-level therapists ready to deliver impactful school-based services
* Commitment to fostering communication development in students across diverse educational needs
Job Details:
* Assignment Duration: August 28, 2026, through June 18, 2027
* Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
* Location: Bridgeport, Connecticut (Travel position supporting school districts in the area)
* Age Group Served: Kindergarten through 12th grade, with highest demand in K-8
