U.S. Manager of Learning & Development
HTI is assisting an international manufacturing company with their search for an experienced Learning and Development professional to join their global HR team. This is a direct hire, full-time, onsite position. The salary range is $120,000 – $140,000/year, depending on experience and education. Relocation assistance is available. Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, Education, or Business Management. Master’s degree is a plus.
8+ years of experience in training and employee development, creating and implementing successful technical training, onboarding, and leadership development programs.
Must have L&D experience within the manufacturing industry.
Strong technical/systems abilities and e-learning course development experience.
Experience developing and delivering training programs for manufacturing software/systems implementation projects is a plus.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with and develop team members at all levels of the organization.
Job duties include:
Lead and support training initiatives across U.S. manufacturing sites, including technical/systems training, onboarding, and leadership development.
Coordinate with operational departments to develop competency level charts and required skills/behaviors for each manufacturing process.
Collaborate with leadership and SME’s to ensure that training is accurate, relevant, and aligned with overall goals.
Create clear guidelines for expected training outcomes that align with relevant work instructions and SOP’s
Track and monitor training completion and effectiveness through assessments/surveys and performance metrics.
Maintain LMS/all training documentation and content, ensuring version control.
Pilot training sessions with small groups and utilize feedback to refine training.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
Manage multiple training projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive program success and alignment with business needs.
Support global manufacturing software implementation projects by developing standardized training and qualification processes.
Facilitate leadership development programs and soft-skills training courses; track and report on participation and the impact of all training initiatives.
