Job Description
MT L2 will execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities including inspections, cleaning, calibration, and replacing worn parts to keep equipment running reliably and prevent unexpected breakdowns, extending asset life, improving safety, boosting efficiency, and other activities including but not limited to:
Assist experienced technicians and engineers with Preventive Maintenance activities.
This position does require that a person is working around chemicals, proper training and handling will be provided.
Complete preventive maintenance set ups, leak checks and quality checks on semiconductor equipment and equipment components.
Assist with parts receiving, staging and inspection.
Performs equipment maintenance as assigned on peripheral components such as leak check detector, and other equipment.
Engage as a PM team member to complete maintenance activities with other MT L2, and PM Technicians, Assist as directed.
Performs maintenance at any designated location in the Fab, or sub-fab across the work site.
Consistently ensure to be up to date on all processes and procedures by reviewing documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Manage spare parts as they come to the site to ensure they move to the floor and store it properly.
Remain dynamic and prepared to complete both scheduled and unscheduled or sporadic preventive maintenance activities as needed.
Own supported areas in accordance with 5S practices.
Perform and collaborate to close any possible safety tasks as wire management.
Perform housekeeping in the working area.
Use of computers for training and to maintain required maintenance logs.
Document the steps and procedures followed (Specs, Manuals, Instructions) during any technical or operative task and send a proper report to Intel when required.
Job requirements (key skills and knowledge):
Diploma in Electronic, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Mechanic Technician or High School Diploma with 2 years of experience in industrial preventive maintenance processes.
Follow electrical diagrams.
Follow Intel repair process (RFC).
Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
A high degree of good judgment, work ethic, and initiative.
Ability and willingness to use a respirator during work, if applicable
