Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work onsite at an elementary school in Dallas, TX. This opportunity spans the current school year, from ASAP through May 23, 2025, with standard hours of 37.5 per week. The ideal candidate will support students by conducting evaluations and managing IEP documentation within a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer speech and language evaluations for elementary school students
Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with school guidelines
Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement effective speech therapy interventions
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
Participate in team meetings and communicate with parents and guardians regarding student development
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
Candidates holding state certification as a School Speech-Language Pathologist required
Recent graduates with Clinical Fellow (CF) status will be considered
Experience working in an elementary school setting is highly desirable
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing evaluation reports and IEP paperwork
Ability to work onsite consistently throughout the contract duration
