is seeking an

Electrical Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Carson, CA

. Ideally looking for an electrical engineer expertise in systems designing of aircraft interior products such as bins, galleys, lavatories, closets and ceiling panels used in commercial and private aircrafts using a computer aided drafting system

Rate Range: $48/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Summary of Duties: Produce innovative systems design 3D models and 2D drawings of aircraft interior products within technical specification and project requirements.Work closely with project engineers to complete engineering deliverables per project schedule and budget. Create and check 3D models and 2D drawings that meet the design standards using Company processes and documentations. Ensure that design-to-cost practices are incorporated into new design to meet design cost targets.Drive the use of Company standard parts and design in product development. Drive 3D models and 2D drawings all the way from creation through release to ensure project schedules are met. Drive status of tasks and progress of work in Engineering task management tool. Work closely with project engineers to complete engineering deliverables per project schedule and budget. Support engineers in resolving complex technical issues Lead work packages with the support of Electrical Engineer 1 and 2. Create schematic diagrams (simple).Lead work packages with the support of Electrical Engineer 1 and 2. Create schematic diagrams (simple). Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field

Experience: Minimum 5 years related experience in aerospace or electrical engineering design. Computer Skills: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong knowledge of CAD & PLM Systems.
