We’re seeking an experienced

Precast Plant Manager

to lead day-to-day operations at a precast concrete manufacturing facility in Bay Shore, NY. This role is responsible for safety, quality, production performance, and workforce leadership in a fast-paced, hands-on plant environment.

What You’ll Do Lead all plant operations including batching, casting, curing, finishing, yard operations, and shipping Plan and execute production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery commitments Drive safety compliance and foster a strong safety-first culture Ensure products meet quality standards and applicable industry specifications (PCI, NPCA, DOT, municipal, utility) Lead, develop, and hold accountable supervisors, foremen, and production teams Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements Oversee preventive maintenance and coordinate equipment repairs Manage inventory of raw materials, forms, embeds, and finished product Track and report key production, labor, safety, and quality metrics

What We’re Looking For 5–10+ years of experience in precast concrete manufacturing or heavy industrial operations Proven leadership experience in a plant or production environment Strong understanding of concrete production processes and plant equipment Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, and technical specifications Hands-on leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field OSHA 10 or 30 PCI, NPCA, or ACI certifications Forklift, crane, or equipment certifications
