04/20/2026 Job Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse with strong ICU experience to manage complex patients in a mixed ICU setting. The role requires proficiency in critical care skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Manage complex ICU patients, including surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases. Administer IV medications, manage ventilators, and perform hemodynamic monitoring. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes. Document patient data and treatment in the Epic charting system. Adapt to varying patient acuity and maintain flexibility in patient care delivery. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, excluding travel experience preferred. BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications required. Registered Nurse (RN) license from South Dakota Board of Nursing. Experience with Epic, strong critical thinking, and teamwork skills. Comfortable working a 48-hour week and capable of floating between departments as needed. Availability to work weekends and holidays as required by the schedule. Must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility.
