Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to K-8 students in Waterbury, CT, covering a maternity leave from March 9, 2026, through June 18, 2026. This role is designed for experienced therapists holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and state-specific educator certification with a Special Endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology. New graduates will not be considered for this position. Qualifications:

* Current CCC-SLP credential required * Initial Educator Teacher Certification with Special Endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology (state-specific) * No new graduates; must have prior experience in school settings

Position Details:

* Contract duration: March 9, 2026 to June 18, 2026 * Location: Waterbury, CT (school-based) * Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday through Friday * Student caseload: 50-60 K-8 students, with potential increases as the year progresses * Maternity leave coverage position

Responsibilities:

* Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students grades K-8 * Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) * Collaborate with educators, parents, and related professionals to support student progress * Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and state regulations
