Outside Sales Representative (B2B) | Kitchen Guard of Fairfax-Frederick | Chantilly, VA Most sales roles have you selling something people can say no to. This one is different. Restaurant owners, hotel operators, and senior living facilities are legally required to maintain compliant, fire-safe commercial kitchens. They are not evaluating whether they need the service - they are evaluating who they trust to provide it. At Kitchen Guard of Fairfax-Frederick, your job is not to manufacture urgency. It already exists. Your job is to show up professionally, earn trust, and close recurring contracts that stay on the books long-term. We are growing across Northern Virginia and looking for a driven, coachable outside sales professional to own their territory and build with us.

Compensation New representatives are generating $8,000 - $12,000 per month combining base and commission. Strong performers exceed $12,000 per month with no cap on upside. Average annual take-home lands between $100,000 - $150,000. The structure begins as commission-only at up to 15% while we identify the right fit, then transitions to a base salary of up to $40,000 plus 7-10% commission. Base is negotiable depending on experience.

The Role This is a full-cycle, field-based B2B sales position. You will be in front of restaurant owners, hotel managers, and facility directors daily - educating them on kitchen exhaust cleaning, fire safety, compliance requirements, and the long-term consequences of neglecting them. You will conduct site inspections, manage your own pipeline, maintain accurate CRM records, and own the relationship from first conversation through close and beyond.

Some inspections require getting on rooftops. This is not a desk role and it is not for everyone. For the right person, it is an opportunity to build a high-income territory in a recession-resistant industry where clients renew because they have to - not just because they want to. Working hours follow the rhythm of the restaurant industry: 7:00 - 11:30 AM and 2:00 - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility in between to manage your pipeline and follow-ups.

What You Bring 2+ years of B2B sales experience preferred Background in restaurant operations, hospitality, construction, or field service is a strong advantage Comfortable conducting face-to-face conversations with owners and general managers Self-motivated with strong time management and the ability to work independently Diligent CRM habits - accurate, timely documentation is a core expectation of this role Willing to conduct rooftop inspections as needed Reliable personal transportation required Must pass a background check
