An opportunity is available for an Elementary EL Resource Teacher serving grades 3-5 at a school in Arlington Heights, IL. This contract position spans from January 6, 2026, through June 2, 2026, providing 32.5 hours per week of focused instruction within the general education setting. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction to English Learners (EL) in grades 3-5, adapting curriculum to meet diverse language needs Collaborate with classroom teachers to support EL students' academic progress and language development Utilize ESL or bilingual teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and comprehension Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of EL student achievement and growth Participate actively in professional development and team meetings to align practices with district goals Qualifications: Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) ESL or Bilingual endorsement required Experience working with English Learners in elementary grades preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary educational team Location: Elementary School in Arlington Heights, Illinois This contract role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on the academic and language development of EL students in an elementary school environment. The schedule includes approximately 32.5 hours weekly during the contract period.
