Insurance Defense Attorney (New Haven)

We are a growing firm, looking for an Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for someone who has 1+ years of experience, with previous deposition and premises liability experience.

Requirements: 1+ years of experience 1+ years of insurance defense experience Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in Connecticut

Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, from initial claim evaluation to final resolution. Conduct thorough legal and factual research, and develop effective defense strategies for clients. Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies. Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings

The annual salary for this position is between 90k-120k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
