Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

*Join Our Team as a Pediatric COTA - 4 Day Work Week (27-36 hours)*

Are you passionate about positively impacting the lives of children? We are seeking a COTA to join our team and help shape the future of our young patients. We have one full-time position in our DTC location. A typical day includes nine treatment sessions and an hour lunch.

*About Us:* We are a pediatric healthcare clinic with a strong reputation that has worked with children and their families for the past 38 years. We are somewhat unique in that each therapist has a private sensory gym that acts as their office and treating space. Further, we work within a multidisciplinary environment with other pediatric focused professionals who are committed to fostering a collaborative, supportive environment.

*Position Overview:* As a clinician with us, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of children, providing individualized therapeutic interventions. You will collaborate closely with families and caregivers to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that promote independence, improve functional skills, and enhance quality of life.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Design and implement customized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. * Provide direct therapy services in clinic and potentially in educational or community settings. * Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. * Educate and empower families on therapeutic strategies and home programs. * Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and team members.

*Qualifications:*

* Associates Degree as Occupational Therapy Assistant * Current state license (or eligibility) to practice as a COTA. * Pediatric experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply. * Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
