Operations Manager (Fountain Valley)

This is a high‑impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, electronic manufacturing environment and is motivated by building strong teams, improving processes, and driving operational excellence. The Operations Manager leads the production floor, champions quality and safety, and plays a key role in shaping the future of my client's manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities: Lead daily production operations to ensure smooth workflow, on‑time delivery, and consistent product quality. Drive operational strategy by developing and executing plans that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support company growth. Optimize resources by managing staffing, equipment, and materials to meet production goals. Champion quality through rigorous process oversight, inspections, and adherence to industry standards. Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Advance continuous improvement using data, lean principles, and problem‑solving to enhance processes and reduce waste. Collaborate across departments—including procurement, engineering, quality, and logistics—to resolve issues and improve performance. Manage budgets and monitor operational expenses to ensure cost‑effective production. Develop and mentor your team, fostering engagement, accountability, and a culture of continuous learning. Monitor KPIs to evaluate performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience). 10–15 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Deep understanding of electronics manufacturing processes.

Required Skills: Strong communication skills, including the ability to interpret technical information and present to leadership and customers. Experience working with ERP systems and using data to drive decisions. Ability to build trust, motivate teams, and lead through change.
