Part-Time | 24 hours/week Shift:

Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Sign-On Bonus:

Up to $2,000 for part-time and full-time caregivers

About the Unit — General Surgery (3W) General Surgery 3W provides care for patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures, ranging from simple appendectomies to complex colon resections requiring colostomy placement. This unit also specializes in bariatric procedures and offers hands-on experience with postoperative monitoring, wound care, pain management, and surgical recovery pathways.

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) . Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program Must hold and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements New graduates and experienced LPNs welcome

LPN-IV Certification
