Nocturnist Hospitalist working from 8pm-8am; responsible for cross cover and admissions.

A total of of 53+ employed Hospitalists in the group. Program was started 23 years ago. Shifts are 12 hours 144 shifts/years (full-time), 12 shifts per month, with flexible scheduling Average number of admissions per night: Midtown: 8-12 patients each, plus cross-coverage/codes (two Nocturnists per night at each campus; 8pm-8am ) Gateway: 10-12 patients each, plus cross-coverage/codes (two Nocturnists per night at each campus; 8pm-8am) Henderson: 6-8 patients per night 7pm-7am (1 nocturnist staffed) Referral base includes ED visits, direct admissions, and regional transfers Robust subspecialty support Procedures not required
