Gerontology Nurse Practitioner

APEA AGACNP Subject Matter Expert (SME) We are seeking an experienced

AGACNP Subject Matter Expert

to support the review, update, and alignment of exam-prep question items for

Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)

certification exams. The SME will ensure content accuracy, clinical relevance, and alignment with current AGACNP exam blueprints and acute care practice standards.

Role

Mandatory Qualifications MSN, DNP, or PhD in Nursing

with AGACNP focus Active AGACNP certification

(AGACNP-BC or ACNPC-AG) Active U.S. RN and NP/APRN license 3–5+ years

post-certification experience as an AGACNP

Required Clinical Experience Primary practice in

inpatient acute care settings

(ICU, step-down, hospitalist, or acute specialties) Experience managing

adult and geriatric patients Demonstrated ability in acute diagnosis, treatment, and pharmacologic management Must have worked in Education sector - teaching/ creating content/ providing training

Preferred (Strong Plus) ICU or high-acuity background Teaching, precepting, or exam-prep experience (APEA or similar) Familiarity with

ANCC/AACN AGACNP exam blueprints
