Compensation:
$82,000-$88,000 annual base + overtime extra pay

The Maintenance Supervisor will have 3 direct reports- (Maintenance Techs)
We are looking for 5+ years of experience, PLC, Preventive Maintenance, Automotive, and Basic Electrical Knowledge/Experience.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees second-shift maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, safe work practices, and continuous improvement within the facility. This role requires a strong background in automation and PLC troubleshooting, combined with excellent leadership and communication skills. The position reports to the Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, instruct, and coordinate maintenance personnel to ensure productivity and efficiency.
Coordinate work with outside contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Review production schedules and allocate labor hours to meet operational needs.
Analyze and resolve maintenance issues; support employees in problem-solving.
Manage time and attendance records for team members.
Administer disciplinary actions as needed.
Requisition tools, parts, equipment, and supplies.
Assist in troubleshooting and modifying PLC programs (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley).
Maintain adequate spare parts inventory to reduce downtime.
Oversee maintenance documentation including machine history, manuals, drawings, and PM logs.
Ensure plant security is maintained during assigned shift.
Support launch programs and new equipment installation.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance equipment uptime and product quality.
Collaborate with engineers to coordinate maintenance activities.
Conduct meetings, address grievances, and escalate unresolved issues per protocol.
Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
Maintain housekeeping standards for the maintenance area.
Participate in continuous improvement and self-directed work team initiatives.
Follow ISO14001 and IATF16949 procedures.
Support plant recycling and environmental programs.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct supervision of hourly maintenance technicians.
Responsible for overall direction, coaching, evaluation, and performance management of assigned team.
Conduct training, assign work, assess performance, and enforce company policies.
Address complaints and resolve problems in alignment with company standards and legal requirements.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Associate degree (A.A.) required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years of related maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong background in automation systems including industrial robots, AGVs, and vision systems.
PLC experience required (ControlLogix, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, SLC 500).
Ability to read ladder logic and make programming adjustments.

Physical Requirements
Regularly required to use hands, climb/balance, and communicate verbally.
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to regularly lift up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Vision requirements include close, distance, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
